The Great Spirit is in all things,
he is in the air we breathe.
The Great Spirit is our Father,
but the Earth is our Mother.
She nourishes us,
that which we put into the ground
she returns to us....

The Petition
We, the people of Ireland, call on the United States President, Barack Obama, to have compassion in the case of Leonard Peltier, wrongly convicted and sentenced to two life terms in April 1977 in connection with the deaths of two FBI agents on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in South Dakota.

Leonard Peltier is 67 years old and is of no threat to anyone.

He is in ill health and needs to be at home to spend the remainder of his years with his family.

It has been proven through the Freedom of Information Act that
evidence was fabricated and people were coerced in order for the
government to safely secure a conviction.

We call on you to invoke your power as President of the United States of America to grant Executive Clemency to Leonard Peltier.
